Ethnic Minority Achievement Service - EMAS
EMAS is a team of specialist teachers, bilingual classroom assistants, Home/School liaison officers and Nursery Liaison workers. We support pupils who have English as an additional language in schools across Brighton & Hove.
We work with some pre-school children, primary and secondary aged children, in their own schools, in all areas of the curriculum. Some pupils are newly arrived in UK and new to English, others have been born here or been here for some time, but still need support in order to achieve their potential in school.
We also work with refugee pupils through our ERF phase 111 EU funded project.
We are currently updating our new website please visit pier2peer for more information.
