Active for Life
Active for Life is a city wide programme, encouraging participation in sports and physical activities. We provide information on when and where activities are happening. We also work with targeted communities and under-represented groups to provide affordable, accessible activities within the local community.

The Active for Life Directory
The Active for Life Directory publication contains information about a wide range of sport and physical activities from Abseiling to Yoga and is available free from:
- council buildings
- libraries
- town halls
- leisure centres
- hospitals
- clinics
- community centres

The Active for Life website
This is the place to find out where and how to join in with organised sports and activities in Brighton and Hove.
You can use the directory to find local groups that offer just about every sport or activity you can think of – from dance to pilates, from conservation to croquet, from abseiling to aqua aerobics – not forgetting football, cricket, tennis and basketball of course!
You can find your nearest leisure centre and details of what it has to offer.

How to register my group or activity to appear in the directory
You can register your club on the sport development club database for free simply by following this link. By registering, your club will then appear in the online directory on our website, and you will also be included in the hard copy of the directory.
