Cycling on the seafront

Cycle lanes are provided along the seafront and are clearly marked.

For the safety and consideration of all users, please do not cycle along the promenade. Equally we ask all pedestrians to avoid walking in or blocking the cycle path.

Regular patrols are carried out by the Seafront Officers and Police Community Support Officers. Fines can be issued to those breaking the bylaws. 

Kings Road Arches to be renovated

From 5th November 2012 works to rebuild, strengthen and refurbish the arches between Alfresco's restaurant and the West Pier will begin for an estimated 50 weeks. Click here to find out how this will affect your journey or visit the JourneyOn website.
