Volleyball and Seafront Sports

Volleyball Court

There is a volleyball court on the lower esplanade between the piers. To book the court between May & September, please call the Seafront Office on (01273) 292716. The court costs £22.50 per hour.

Out of season the court is free for anyone to use, just bring your own equipment and play! Remember to share your time with other who also want to enjoy the facilities. The court is not maintained or inspected during this time and we always recommend using suitable footware.

Basketball Court

The basketball court is free to use and based on a turn up and play scheme. Bring your own ball or join in with each others and shoot some hoops down on Brighton Beach.

Table Tennis

There are various tables situated all the way along the seafront, again there is no cost just bring your own equipment and share the courts with all who wish to use them.

 

Petanque Court

The Petanque Court is located by the Peace Statue at the eastern end of Hove Lawns. Again just bring your own equipment and enjoy a lazy day in the sun. Brighton & Hove Petanque Club do hold club events on the terrain for those with a more competative edge.
