What's new?
Parents asked views on childcare - More than 7,000 parents of children under 15 in Brighton & Hove have been sent a questionnaire to ask their views on childcare in the city. Parents’ names have been selected randomly from council databases and the questionnaire asks whether they have found the childcare they need at a place, time and cost they are happy with. They are also asked for their views on childcare quality and the amount of choice available, as well as their future childcare needs.
Results of the questionnaire will be used as part of the council’s Childcare Sufficiency Assessment to be published in March 2011. Parents are strongly encouraged to complete and return the questionnaire. Those doing so are eligible to be entered into a prize draw to win one of four prizes of high street shopping vouchers worth £50.00. Deadline extended until 23 July.
