The Children & Young People's Trust

We want Brighton & Hove to be the best place for children and young people to grow up in

my play space 2

All children's services in Brighton & Hove are part of the Children and Young People's Trust (CYPT). The Director of Children's Services for the CYPT is Di Smith

The CYPT brings together education, health and social care for all 0-19-year-olds (and up to 25 years for those with special needs). It works in partnership with other health services as well as community and voluntary organisations in the city.

We have divided the city into three areas:

  • East
  • West
  • Central

Many services are offered by area teams, while some are delivered by city-wide teams.

We are also working in partnership with parents and families. Visit www.brightonandhoveparentsforum.com to find out about a new organisation in the city which aims to give parents a voice.
