Public Toilets in Brighton & Hove

Brighton & Hove City Council is commited to providing a high standard of public toilet provision. The Loo of the Year Award results reflect the commitment and dedication of staff.

Brighton & Hove city Council has been awarded the trophy for UK Public Toilet Entries by the British Toilet Association's Loo of the Year Awards. In addition the councils contractor, Wetton Cleaning Services, was awarded the UK Individual Attendant Team Trophy, with special recognition for Pearl at Western Esplanade.

The information you will see on the following pages includes information for 85 toilets within the city. This includes a mixture of toilets operated by the council as well as those participating in the council's "You're Welcome Scheme". This scheme includes businesses who have agreed that members of the public may use their toilet facilities.

Please note that opening hours of public toilets may be subject to change and distances and directions to alternative facilities are approximate.
