Education Welfare

Brighton & Hove Education Welfare Service (EWS) provides a service to young people, parents/carers and schools. It fulfils a number of statutory responsibilities on behalf of the Local Authority (LA), including non-attendance at school, regulation of child employment and the licensing of children in entertainment, modelling and paid sporting activities.
