Monday 18 June 2018 - 6:30 pm

This walk is part of the first half of our Round the City Walk Challenge, where the 26 mile route is divided into 6 manageable walks taking in city, sea and downland. With challenge walk leader Maire McQueeny.

  1. Monday 18th June- Pier to Old Portslade (4 miles)
  2. Tuesday 19th June- Old Portslade to Devil's Dyke (3.5 miles)
  3. Wednesday 20th June- Devil's Dyke to Patcham Village (4.5 miles)

All Healthwalks are free, led by trained Volunteer Healthwalk Leaders and on public-transport routes. There is no need to book – you can just turn up. On your first walk you will need to fill out a simple health questionnaire. You can print and complete this in advance, or simply turn up ten minutes early so that a walk leader can give you a form to fill out. For all subsequent walks you will just need to add your name to the register.

Please wear comfortable shoes and clothing suitable for the weather. On exposed walk routes, it is also a good idea to have a drink and sunscreen with you. Well-behaved dogs on a lead are welcome on the walks, with the exception of the cemeteries walk.
