Planning History

A planning history lists all planning permissions registered to a property.  Details of all planning applications are available to view on the planning register back to 1997.  Prior to this date a request will need to be made by completing the planning information request form.  Email the form to planning.applications@brighton-hove.gov.uk we will investigate and respond with details of the fee required.

Copy Planning Decision

Copies of planning decisions are available to view and download from the planning register for all applications from 1997 to date.  Prior to this date a request will need to be made by completing the planning information request form.  Email the form to planning.applications@brighton-hove.gov.uk we will investigate whether a copy is available and respond with details of the fee required.

Archived Planning Application File 

All planning applications received after April 2016 are in electronic form only and can be viewed via the planning register.  The information held on older files will vary and is dependent on the year  the application was submitted and the address (e.g. Brighton, Hove, Portslade)  To view a file complete the planning information request form.  All historical planning files are held at our archive facility and will require ordering before being made available.  Email the form to planning.applications@brighton-hove.gov.uk and we will check to see if the file is still available and respond with details of any fee required.  We will contact you by email once the planning file is available.  You will only be able to view the file by appointment at the Customer Service Centre, Hove Town Hall, Norton Road, Hove BN3 4AH
