Neighbourhood Plan examination and report
Mr Jeremy Edge BSc FRICS MRTPI started the examination of the Hove Station neighbourhood plan on January 2022. He identified some issues with the Basic Conditions Statement supporting the Plan. He then suspended the examination in May 2022 to enable the Neighbourhood Forum to make amendments to the Basic Conditions Statement document. The examination resumed on 20 March 2023 following a Supplementary Regulation 16 consultation between November and December 2022. We received the independent examination report of the Hove Station Neighbourhood Plan on 10 October 2023.
The report recommended that the Neighbourhood Plan should, subject to the recommended modifications, proceed to referendum. The Council is preparing a Decision Statement setting out the actions to be taken in response to the Examiner’s recommendations.
