What is a Travel Plan?

A Travel Plan is an active document that sets out a strategy, measures, action plans and targets.  It helps promote safe and sustainable transport and can reduce car use.

Travel Plans are location specific and are all different according to the size, type and location of the organisation they relate to.

Guidance is available to help businesses of all sizes, universities and colleges, hospitals and charitable organisations develop and implement both voluntary and mandatory travel plans.
