Winter weather

Friday 15 December 2017

We're sending the gritters out on the full route tonight to ensure the roads are well treated with salt.

Severe weather shelter for rough sleepers open

Our severe weather shelter for rough sleepers will be open tonight (Friday 15 December) in response to predicted the cold weather. The shelter is open to all rough sleepers.

If you are concerned about a rough sleeper at any time, please use Streetlink to get in touch with our outreach team. You can also call on 0300 500 0914.

The severe weather shelter is run by Brighton Housing Trust (BHT). BHT work with our street outreach service run by St Mungo's. St Mungo’s will be working with other local organisations to inform rough sleepers about the shelters and to assist BHT in co-ordinating shelter places.

Are you cold at home?
