TAKEPART Festival of Sport and Physical Activity


Celebrating 10 years of the TAKEPART Festival in 2017! 

TAKEPART is an award winning festival, celebrating sport, dance and exercise in Brighton & Hove.

Between 17 June – 2 July 2017 there are many different events and activities for all ages, abilities and interests organised by local organisations in the city.

Attend events, watch performances, try out different activities or simply take the opportunity talk to local coaches and instructors. 

Activities for All:

We are committed to providing accessible opportunities for all people living in Brighton & Hove to participate in the festival and want  to encourage everyone to use the festival to be active in some way. There are many opportunities to try something new during TAKEPART

All events and activities within the Festival are free and suitable for beginners and are the perfect chance for you to discover activities you can enjoy to lead a healthy active lifestyle in Brighton & Hove.

There are specific activities for people of all ages and abilities including disability focused clubs such as Blind Tennis Sussex, Albion in the Community and Brighton Buccaneers wheelchair rugby, Alongside activities suitable for a wide range of ages and abilities including Table Tennis, Hula Hooping, All ability bikes, Zumba, Flamenco dance and golf. All the clubs are friendly and able to adapt most activities if possible.
