Healthwalks for Women
Our women's Healthwalks provide a safe and supportive opportunity for women to walk together, make new friends and get some gentle but effective exercise. We feel it's important to provide a women-only walking opportunity. Women are underrepresented in sport and physical activity compared to men both nationally and locally. Providing an opportunity for women to walk with other women helps those who for various reasons could feel excluded from mixed-gender walks.
