Volunteer walk leader training

Apply to attend our next Volunteer Walk Leader Training Day

Healthwalk leaders

  • The next Walk Leader Training Day will be held in the summer. Complete the application form below to be added to the waiting list.

The training is free and we can cover travel and childcare expenses in certain circumstances.

The training is very popular and places are given on the basis of the volunteer's commitment to leading walks and a simple application process. We're particularly keen to hear from people who are happy to walk at a slower pace and accompany slower walkers.

If you are interested in attending the next training, please:

We will get back to you as soon as possible to confirm whether or not you have a place.  If you have any problems completing the forms please contact us on 01273 292564 or 01273 292574.

We highly recommend that you try a Healthwalk  before coming on the training so that you know that it is the right kind of volunteering activity for you.  If you are unsure which walk to choose please get in touch.
