Remembrance events 2014
Below are details of the events being held at the city's memorials in October and November 2014.
Council representatives including the mayor, chief executive and councillors will be attending the services.
There will be some road closures and bus diversions due to the services on Sunday 9 November. If you are planning to travel by bus you can get details of changes to bus services at buses.co.uk

A short service will be held at the War Memorial at
Sunday 9 November 2014
The Royal Sussex Regimental Association Remembrance Service & The Royal Sussex Regiment Memorial at 9am (please assemble by 8.55am)
The short service will be held at:
Brighton Parade and Service War Memorial at 11am (please assemble by 10.55am)
A parade will depart from Madeira Drive towards the Old Steine War Memorial for a Service and Wreath Laying Ceremony
Hove Cemetery Memorial at 11am
A short wreath-laying ceremony will take place first at the North Gate Memorial at 11am followed by the same ceremony at the South Gate Memorial at:
Old Shoreham Road
Parade to Hove War Memorial 2.10pm, followed by a service at 3pm
A parade will leave Hove Town Hall at 2.10pm and proceed to the War Memorial, Grand Avenue, Hove, for a wreath-laying ceremony. From there the parade will process to All Saints Church for a full Service of Remembrance starting at 3pm. You can go directly to the Church for the Service if you are unable, or do not wish to take part in the parade.
