Apprenticeship Pay

Brighton & Hove City Council apprentices earn:

From 1 October 2015.

During an apprentices first year:

Intermediate Level 2: £5.30 per hour / £10,225 per annum

Advanced or Higher Level 3+: £6.70 per hour / £12,926 per annum

Once completed first year:

National Minimum Wage appropriate for their age must apply. *

From 1 October 2016.

During an apprentices first year:

Intermediate Level 2: £5.55 per hour / £10,708 per annum

Advanced or Higher Level 3+: £6.95 per hour / £13,409 per annum

Once completed first year:

National Minimum Wage appropriate for their age must apply. *

*Once an apprentice has completed the first year of their Apprenticeship, National Minimum Wage appropriate for their age must apply but should not be less than their starting salary.
