Keep learning...

Try something new. Rediscover an old interest. Sign up for that course. Take on a different responsibility at work. Fix a bike. Learn to play an instrument or how to cook your favourite food. Set a challenge you will enjoy achieving. Learning new things will make you more confident as well as being fun.

5 ways learn

Brighton & Hove's libraries provide more than books to borrow – for example reading groups, knitting groups, computer sessions and activities for children and young people. Reading offers relaxation, stimulation, knowledge and self-development, in addition to new perspectives on life and inspiration. Visit our 'Reading Well' page for our recommended mood-boosting book titles.

Brighton & Hove Food Partnership

The Brighton & Hove Food Partnership helps people learn to cook, to eat a healthy diet, to grow their own food and to waste less food. They also provide lots of opportunities to get involved volunteering at a community garden. Anyone can contact them directly for an advice session to see what might suit you. Find out more at
