Cityclean service update

Service update Wednesday 23 April

We are sorry but our tool to help you check your collection day isn't working right now. We are aware and are working to fix it as soon as possible.

All the crews have now finished for the day, but we do still have outstanding refuse collections in the Southover and Dyke Road area we will return to collect Thursday 24 April

If your rubbish and recycling was not put out for collection on Good Friday or Easter Monday it will be collected on your next scheduled collection day. We will collect any extra waste, please place this next to your container. Over the May bank holidays please remember to leave your recycling and rubbish out for collection on your usual day. We'll be collecting recycling and rubbish on the May and August bank holiday Mondays.

New communal recycling service for city centre

Communal recycling is next being introduced to 76 streets in the London Road, Queens Park, and Rottingdean Coastal areas and will be rolled out by 9 May. The last recycling box collection will be week beginning 12 May.

Find out where the bins are, what you can recycle, and how to use them.
