Staff pay and conditions

We're committed to being as open as possible about our spending. This includes publishing information about our senior officers' pay and details of how salaries for all council employees are determined.

Our pay policy statement for 2015/16 (PDF 44KB) was approved by council on the 26 March 2015.

We pay most of our staff according to the National Joint Council pay rates for Local Government Services (PDF 183KB).
