Becoming a Teaching Assistant and training

  • Are you interested in becoming a Teaching Assistant in Brighton & Hove?
  • Are you volunteering or currently employed as a Teaching Assistant?
  • Do you want to gain a nationally recognised Level 2 Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools qualification, that will be fully funded?

We offer Supporting Teaching and Learning Schools qualifications. The next cohort will begin in October 2016.

Come to our information session on Thursday 15 September 2016 from 10.00am to 11.30am at Portslade Learning Centre, Chalky Road, Portslade. This will give you an opportunity to find out about the qualifications and to ask questions.

For more information or to book a place on the event, please contact Nicki O’Neill on 01273 293466 or email schools.training@brighton-hove.gov.uk.

There are details in our Teaching Assistant information leaflet (PDF 109KB) about how to enter the profession and also about the Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools Qualifications.
