Help with specific learning difficulties and dyslexia
The Literacy Support Service
The Literacy Support Service are expert teachers providing support in primary and secondary schools for children with severe specific learning difficulties (SpLD) or dyslexia. These children usually have difficulties with reading, spelling and writing, they often have memory problems too.
Literary Support Service Training Day - 17 January 2014
The Literacy Support Service is holding a Training Day at Carden Primary School on “Supporting Children with Working Memory Problems in the Classroom” presented by Professor Susan Gathercole of the Medical Research Council Cognition and Brain Sciences Unit, Cambridge.
The Training Day is aimed at primary and secondary SENCos, class teachers and teaching assistants as well as any professionals working with children with working memory problems.
