The School Admissions team allocate school places in Brighton & Hove and are responsible for the waiting list (reallocation pool) for Brighton & Hove schools. If you have a question about allocation contact the School Admissions team.

Please read this guidance before you submit the appeal form. This is particularly important if your appeal is for Reception year to Year Two, where the grounds on which an appeal can succeed are limited.
You can appeal a decision by submitting an appeal form online or by post. If you're appealing more than one school you will need to complete a separate form for each school.
Primary school (Reception year or Year 3 starting in September 2018)

In-year placement process
In-year appeals are heard throughout the academic year. After you submit your appeal you will receive an acknowledgement that your appeal has been received, and will be notified of the date as soon as possible.
