If you applied for a place at a school in Brighton & Hove but weren’t successful, you can appeal that decision.
The School Admissions team are responsible for allocating school places in Brighton & Hove and hold the waiting list (reallocation pool) for schools.
Please read this guidance before you submit the appeal form. This is particularly important if your appeal is for Reception year to Year Two, where the grounds on which an appeal can succeed are limited.
You can appeal a decision by submitting an appeal form online or by post. If you're appealing more than one school you will need to complete a separate form for each school.
You will receive a confirmation after we've received your appeal form. Following this, we will send you the date of your appeal hearing.
