Our new look website will tell you all you need to know about fostering and adoption in Brighton & Hove.

The website gives prospective foster carers information on the benefits and rewards of fostering for Brighton & Hove. It explains the different types of fostering, the skills needed, the assessment process, foster care allowances and our excellent 24 hour support services. There are similar pages for prospective adopters and information on the services for adopted adults and birth families.

You can also access our Foster Carer’s Handbook on the site which gives more detailed information about fostering.

There’s also a news page and video clips of our local foster carers talking about their experiences of fostering with us

Current foster carers and adopters have received a password to enable them to access the secure part of the website. This contains information on training events, support groups and services, the out-of-hours service and policies and procedures.

Foster carers can reserve places on training courses from the website as well as link up with other carers or adopters via the message boards.
